Cancellation & Payment Policy

One page, no surprises. This is the entire policy for paying for and cancelling sessions.
Payment
- Payment is due at the end of each session, in person, by cash or Zelle.
- We never collect payment online. The booking form is a scheduling tool only — it will never ask for a card number, and no deposit is required.
- Packages (such as the ten-hour package) may be paid in full at the first session or split across the first two sessions.
- Receipts are available on request.
Cancelling or rescheduling
- Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice by email (hello@upshotprep.com) or phone ((732) 555-0148) and there is no charge — no questions asked.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, may be charged half the session fee, payable at the next session. We waive this for genuine emergencies and sudden illness — talk to us.
- If we cancel a session for any reason, you owe nothing and we'll offer the next available slot that works for you.
- Arriving late doesn't extend the session; a tutor will wait 20 minutes before treating a session as a no-show.
Weather and illness
If weather makes travel unsafe or anyone involved is sick, we'll offer to run the session online at the same time instead. If online doesn't work for you, the session is rescheduled at no charge.
